Many people have found difficulties in a bath or shower of their first puppy. It could be hard to shower or bathe your puppy without any experience. This is because you might get your puppy sick when you try to bathe them. Today, I'm here to give you a step-by-step tutorial on bath/shower your puppy correctly.
*****This tutorial is not for a puppy, which is YOUNGER THAN THREE MONTHS OLD, as it cannot shower or bath. It needs DRY SHAMPOO, NO SHOWER.*****
1. Fill water in the pool or tub 🛁
When you are trying to fill water in the pool or tub, remember not to use cold water to freeze your puppy and make it sick.

2. Put some salt into your pool/tub
This action is to kill bacteria. Salt can alter the available water and pressure of viral and bacterial cells. Therefore, having a salt spa for your puppy can be helpful!

3. The right temperature
Now, you have filled the water. Remember to put your arm into the water. This action is to test if the water is too hot, warm, or too cold. You would want the best water temperature for your puppy. ***Not too hot or too cold***

4. Place your puppy into the pool/Tub **Be Gentle**
Remember to be gentle because the last thing you want is to scare your puppy out. The more gentle you are, the calmer of your puppy would be.

5. Pour water on your puppy's body **Avoid pour water directly to its ear**
Pour water all over your puppy's body. Remember to use your hand to stop water flowing to its ears. It is because the water in puppy ears might lead to inflammation.

6. Now, get your puppy out and apply shampoo **Remember to use puppy gentle shampoo**
Human shampoo can not be used on animals because its ingredients can damage dogs' skins. However, adult dog and puppy have different kinds of shampoo as well. Therefore, make sure you get the shampoo, which is for puppy below one-year-old. Otherwise, it can be bad for your puppy's skin.

7. Wash out the shampoo
Now, you are very close to being done. Remember to wash the shampoo away and make sure there's no shampoo left on your puppy's body.

8. Use a towel to wipe your puppy and dryer to dry your puppy **Dry Neck & Stomach First**
The last step would be using the towel to wipe your puppy all over. Then, use the hairdryer to dry your puppy. There are two parts of its body you would want to dry first: its neck and stomach. If these two parts of the body are wet for a long time, your puppy would likely get the cold. Therefore, the priorities are its neck and stomach.

Congrats, you have a clean puppy now!
